Kaley Weil
BIO
Kaley Weil is a New York-based interdisciplinary artist whose work explores intimacy, identity, and communication in the digital age. Through a humorous and distinctly feminine lens, she works primarily in marble and ceramic, contrasting the fleeting aesthetics of smartphones and social media with the enduring physicality of the real world.
Weil holds an MFA in Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture from the New York Academy of Art and a BFA in Art and Psychology from Northwestern University. In 2021, she independently organized and debuted her first solo exhibition, WomenTM, in Los Angeles, which sold out in its entirety. Her work has since been exhibited in New York and Los Angeles, including at Forum Gallery and in Eye to Eye, where it was shown alongside that of Tracey Emin.
In 2024, Weil was selected for the prestigious ABC Stone Carrara Residency in Italy, where she worked alongside master sculptors and engaged with both historical and contemporary marble practices. Her honors include the Tracey Emin Scholar Award, the Prince of Wales Scholarship, the MFA Academy Scholar Award, and the ABC Stone Residency Merit Award.
Weil is exclusively represented by Avant Gallery.
