Enzo Naso, born in Naples, Italy in 1952, is a mechanical engineer and designer who started painting in 1977. With a passion for cars, he started designing posters for the Mille Miglia, Tour Auto, and in 1994, for Ferrari which commenced his collaboration with the Maranello car factory. Works produced under his signature, include a set of watercolors, posters, and calendars dedicated to the Ferrari Challenge finals of Mugello in 1995, Pergusa in 1997, Imola in 1998, and Vallelunga in 1999.
Naso works primarily in the medium of oil on canvas as it best allows him to pursue his search for special effects in transparency and delicacy of colors. Naso also designs graphics – the logo he created for the 50th anniversary of the Maranello factory is one of his most outstanding collaborations with Ferrari to date. He has been the official Ferrari artist since 2001 producing paintings and limited editions and lithographs for collectors and corporations.
In 2004, Naso was invited by Swatch to participate in the Kaleidoscope exhibition held during the Olympic Games. Naso is based out of Italy.
