Anish Kapoor

Anish Kapoor, born in Mumbai, India in 1954, is the artist behind Chicago’s famous “Bean.” In his work, Kapoor explores form and shape in both sculptural and two-dimensional mediums. His work is featured in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., Fondazione Prada in Milan, and the Tate Gallery in London. While he is best known for his large-scale, public, sculptural works, Kapoor also excels in printmaking and etchings.
